·        Monitors the National Security and Foreign Relations policies of our government, and voices your concern

·        Watches all veterans benefits

·        Continues efforts to increase individual benefits for Guard members

·        Maintains close contact with defense contractors in order to continue acquisition of state-of-the-art equipment

·        Conducts an annual conference for an update by state and national leaders and interaction with other NGAT members

·        Works to achieve equipment modernization of ARNG and ANG

·        Maintains close liaison with members of the Texas Legislature and members of the United States Congress

·        Represents YOU at the state and the federal level

·        Supports annual military construction programs for ARNG & ANG

·        Supports Military Readiness for National Defense and for emergency and disaster

·        Maintains  your traditions in the history of the Texas Guard and in the Texas Guard's role for the Nation
