• Provides personalized annual member cards
• Worked successfully to give Texas National Guard members the option of obtaining personalized license plates

• Is the local contact for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve
• Is the local contact for National Guard Association of the United States
• Is the local contact for Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States
• Is the local contact for National Guard Executive Directors Association
• Provides direct contact to the Adjutant General
• Provides irect contact to the Congress and the Pentagon for the Adjutant General
• Upon enlistment in the National Guard, an individual (if not an active or prior member of the Texas Air or Army National Guard) may receive $10,000 in life insurance coverage for one year with no physical required.
• Upon enlistment in the National Guard, a non-prior service enlisted person may receive a free annual membership in NGAT during the current membership year.

Have you lost, or do you need to replace your life membership card? To obtain a replacement life member card, please mail $3 to NGAT, PO Box 10045, Austin, TX 78766-1045. Please allow 3-6 weeks for delivery of new card.

Corporate Membership

The NGAT Corporate Membership Program is designed to improve communications and rapport between the Association and the business community in support of national defense. NGAT has a track record of support to the defense contractor community dealing with those items we feel are needed to enhance the readiness of the Texas Guard.

The Texas Guard Legislative Task Force provides the grass-roots effort that is so vital to the legislative process. The dedicated members of the Task Force are key individuals selected from each Texas Congressional district based on their demonstrated leadership ability on legislative matters. This influential committee responds when called upon not only by the National Guard Association of Texas, but also the Adjutant General of Texas, the National Guard Association of the United States and the Enlisted Association of the United States. The task force members' top priority is to secure positive (or negative) congressional response to bills or proposals affecting our military forces.

Your NGAT Corporate Membership of $500 annually will assist this Association in obtaining its goals and objectives. Your membership also will provide you with exhibit space at our annual state conference in order to show your products to our members. In addition, your company logo will appear with other Corporate members in each issue of our magazine, the NGAT NEWS, and you will receive a handsome eagle plaque.

NGAT Corporate Members are presented with distinctive plaque during the NGAT annual conference in appreciation of their support and the very strong and essential role they play in the growth of our nation's defense.
