Federal

On the Federal level, two task forces exist which focus on specific issues and bills and lobby Congress in different ways.  However, anyone can contact and lobby Congress on all issues by emailing, faxing, and phoning the US Representative for their district.

Task Force A.  Includes selected Guardsmen - officers and enlisted, both active and retired - who visit the US Congress on behalf of the TX Military Forces in the following areas:

• Organization and Mission
• Force Structure
• Equipment

Task Force B.  Includes selected Guardsmen - officers and enlisted, both active and retired - who visit the US Congress on behalf of the TX Military Forces in the following areas:

• Personnel
• ESGR (Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve)

State

On the State level, one task force exists which focuses on more specific state issues and bills regarding to Texas and the Guard.  However, anyone can get involved through emailing, faxing, and phoning Texas Congressmen for votes and support on specific bills.

Task Force C.  Includes selected Guardsmen - officers and enlisted, both active and retired - who visit the Texas Legislature on behalf of the TX Military Forces in the following areas:

• Organization and Mission
• Force Structure
• Equipment
