Friday Welcome Party - All registered guest are invited to the NGAT Welcome Party that will take place in the Radisson Hotel & Suites. Come prepared to visit with friends. The evening will include a casino night and musical entertainment for your dancing pleasure with a cash bar. This version of the traditional welcome party will allow everyone time to get into some casual wear and head out to Austin's famed 6th Street to sample the variety of music and restaurants.

Optional events at this years conference will include old favorites along with some new activities. We hope you will join us for one of these activities.
Golf Tournament - (Fri - 23 Mar 12) Come enjoy a great round of golf at the Star Ranch in Hutto, TX. Format will be a shotgun start, Florida scramble with low net/low gross competition. The golf tournament is open to both registered and non-registered attendees of the conference. Registration includes green fee, cart, range balls, continental breakfast, lunch, trophies and prizes. Sign up as a team or come on your own.
Wine Tasting - (Fri - 23 Mar 12) Educate your senses at the NGAT Wine Tasting. Taste the wines from Texas vineyards. Two tasting times available 1230-1330 and 1400-1500. (Maximum of 20 participants per tasting, first come first serve)
Fun Run - (Fri - 23 Mar 12) Enjoy the visual beauty of Lady Bird Lake and downtown Austin during the NGAT Fun Run.
Skeet & Trap Shoot - (Fri - 23 Mar 12) Shotters of all levels are invited to the Weber Gun's Shooting Range in Troy, Texas for the Skeet & Trap Shoot.
TX Hold'em Tournament - (Fri - 23 Mar 12) Try your skills at the poker table with a game of Texas Hold'em. Let's see if you know when to show them and when to fold them. (Minimum of 15 participants required)
Painting with a Twist - (Fri - 23 Mar 12) Paint, canvas, and brushes are provided, as is an experienced and enthusiastic local artist who will lead you step by step through the process of recreating the featured artwork. (Minimum of 17 participants required)
42 Tournament - (Fri - 23 Mar 12) Come throw some bones in our first NGAT 42 Tournament. (Minimum of 10 participants required)
Texas Capitol/Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum Tour - (Fri - 23 Mar 12) Tour the Texas Capitol and it's extraordinary example of late 19th century public architecture. Come explore Texas history in the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum. (minimum of 15 participants required)
Zumba, Intro to Zumba Fitness - (Sat - 24 Mar 12) Latin-inspired dance-fitness program that blends red-hot international music and contagious steps to form a "fitness-party" that is downright addictive. (The class is free sign up to try it out.)

HOSPITALITY SUITES
The NGAT Social Lounge will operate during the same hours as the hospitality suites. Visit and mingle with friends in a more conversation friendly environment.

BAZAAR VENDORS WANTED
While our tradeshow consists mainly of military related products and hardware, we are attempting to increase the number of non-military related exhibitors and vendors. If you offer a product or service for sale that our Guardmembers could use, we invite you to exhibit at our conference. Wheather you're selling books or homemade pies, make-up, clothing or crafts, we think you could be a good addition to our show. We are offering a 10x10 complimentary exhibit space over the dates of our conference. We have a limited number of these complimentary exhibit spaces and will be offering them on a first-come-first-served basis. |
